To begin a LGV or PCV training course, you will need a provisional LGV or PCV licence. For this you must:

  • Be 18 years of age
  • Hold a valid car licence
  • Pass a medical

Our office staff will deal with the paperwork – they can book your medical and complete the application forms needed for your provisional licence.

Trailer Towing

B+E A car or van towing a trailer over 750 kg.

If you passed your car test after 01/01/1997, you need to take a test to pull a trailer over 750kg. Your car licence will have a provisional entitlement so no medical or provisional application is required.
